Osara Mahakali Temple, also called Vishwa Shanti Mahakali Mandir, is about 16 km from Bharuch in Gujarat. It was built in 1976 by Manbapu and is now taken care of by his family. Many people come here to pray and feel peaceful.
The temple is dedicated to Devi Mahakali. A special belief is that every Tuesday, Maa Durga’s energy comes here from Pavagadh Hill. So, many devotees visit on Tuesdays, keep fasts, and pray.
One unique thing is that the main temple (garbhagriha) opens only once a year on Jeth Sud 10, from 11:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
The temple is in a quiet and natural place, so it is good for peace and meditation.
It is located in Osara village near Bharuch. You can easily go there by auto or taxi from Bharuch city.
